About The Position
**Job Title:** Registered Nurse **Job Specialty:** Home Health **Job Duration:** 13 weeks **Shift:** Day 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 17:00) **Guaranteed Hours:** No **Experience:** Minimum 1 full year Adult Home Health experience or Hospice experience, depending on specialty **License:** Must have a valid nursing license **Certifications:** CPR, BLS **Must-Have:** - Proficiency in OASIS and HomeCare HomeBase EMR within the last 6 months, or completion of a retraining course - Reliable transportation with a driver’s license and auto insurance **Job Description:** - Coordinate and direct the provision of home nursing care according to physicians' orders, based on agency policies and procedures through the competent application of the nursing process - Responsible for supervising and evaluating Home Health Aides and Licensed Practical Nurses/Licensed Vocational Nurses - Conduct home visits with an average of 5-10 patients per day - Document all patient interactions and complete necessary documentation within 24 hours of the appointment - Travel up to 75 miles from the home clinic, with mileage reimbursed at the IRS standard rate (except for the commute to and from the first and last patient) - Cover Harford County territory and attend periodic office meetings - Manage various types of cases including Start of Care, Wound Care, Follow-up Visits, etc. - Participate in a floating system to nearby clinics if patient census is low - Maintain professional proficiency in OASIS and the HomeCare HomeBase EMR system **Additional Information:** - Local candidates accepted at the same rate - Must not currently be a direct employee of any related locations if applying as a traveler - No guaranteed work hours, but productivity expectations of 30 points per week for roughly 40 hours work week
