Job Summary: Provides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization.
Responsibilities: Implements and monitors patient care plans. Monitors, records and communicates patient condition as appropriate. Serves as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care. Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders. Assesses and coordinates patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
Complexity of Work: Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment.

Job Requirements

Current license and primary source verification within 30 days prior to start of assignment for all licensed professionals.
Nursys quick confirm verifications should be completed for all APRN, RN’s and LPN/LVNs.
Copy of the physical license is not required.

Must be AHA.
Required for all travelers. If placement is in a state other than home state, address on Driver’s license must match the home state for the compact license.
