About the Job
- Requires current state of Wisconsin Registered Nurse License or a Multi-state Nursing License from a participating state in the NLC (Nurse Licensure Compact) or permit to practice as a graduate nurse.
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent is required within 90 days.
- American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is preferred.
Certification Details
- Implements the comprehensive plan of care by providing direct nursing care within a shift for individual patients.
- Initiates Interdisciplinary Plan of Care or Guidelines assists the Patient Care Coordinator in devising a comprehensive plan of care and evaluates patient responses to implemented care.
- Assists patients in achieving their long-term goals by establishing and meeting short-term goals and providing education to meet their discharge needs.
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Details
- Experience No experience necessarily required but is dependent upon unit shift current staffing situations; may require specific clinical experience.
- Education Associate degree in Nursing is required.
