Job Description

• Perform routine and complex analytic procedures on blood and/or other body fluids or specimens, involving manual techniques or the use of laboratory instruments and information systems.
• Perform phlebotomy on patients of all ages. 
• Perform computer data entry.
• Process and package specimens for transport to reference lab.

Qualifications:

• Graduation from an accredited high school or equivalent  
• One-year of full-time phlebotomy work preferred but not required
• Possess valid Texas driver’s license
• Requires six months experience in a medical laboratory setting.
• Demonstrated technical proficiency and theoretical knowledge sufficient to perform laboratory functions are required.
