Connected Health Care, a leading recruitment and staffing firm, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Med/Surg Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a 13-week travel assignment in Ozark, Alabama. Job Description:
- Provide direct nursing care to patients in the Med/Surg unit.
- Administer medications, monitor patient conditions, and maintain accurate medical records.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure patient care plans are followed.
- Educate patients and families on post-discharge care plans.
- Assist in managing patient pain, symptoms, and treatment plans.
- Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures.
Education and Certification Requirements:
- Active and unencumbered LPN license in the state of Alabama.
- Minimum of 1 year of recent Med/Surg hospital experience.
- BLS certification required (must be current).
- Familiarity with hospital electronic medical records (EMR) systems preferred.
