Call Rotation: 7 on, 7 off

Duration: 13 weeks (Contract)

Job Description

Elitecare Medical Staffing is seeking an experienced and dedicated Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a contract position in San Luis Obispo, California. This role is essential for providing high-quality imaging and support during interventional procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of interventional radiology procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to prepare for and assist during interventional procedures.
• Ensure proper functioning and maintenance of radiologic equipment.
• Adhere to safety protocols and infection control measures throughout the procedure.
• Document all procedures accurately in compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
• Participate in call rotation, providing on-call support as scheduled.

Requirements

• Current California Radiology Technologist license.
• Fluoroscopy certification required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Interventional Radiology.
• Strong technical skills and knowledge of IR procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
