Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled travel Registered Nurse (RN) to join our talented team. • The location is in Chillicothe, OH, United States
• The working schedule for this role is Nights 7P - 7A; will be asked to float to similar units, and may be asked to float to our other locations, floating will be in similar acuity or lower level acuity than what they are hired for. Will work every other weekend
• The duration is for a contractor for 13 weeks
• The anticipated start for this role is two weeks after an accepted offer
• Holiday coverage is required
• 36 hours guaranteed
• EMR used: Epic
• The pay: $68.06 Hourly ($45.00 Taxable, $23.06 Stipend) = $2,450.00 Weekly = $9,800.00 Monthly Gross

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintaining accurate, complete health care records and reports
• Administering medications to patients and monitoring them for side effects and reactions
• Prescribing assistive medical devices and related treatments
• Recording patient vital signs and medical information
• Ordering medical diagnostic and clinical tests
• Monitoring, reporting, and recording symptoms or changes in patient conditions
• Administering non-intravenous medications
• Assessing, implementing, planning, or evaluating patient nursing care plans by working with healthcare team members
• Modifying patient health treatment plans as indicated by patient conditions and responses

Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree or master degree in nursing preferred
• 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in the appropriate unit for this role
• Pass the National Council Licensure Examination or NCLEX-RN
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• American Heart Association BLS/CPR
• ACLS certification
• Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, physicians and hospital staff
• Basic computer skills
• Professional, friendly attitude
