Education: A minimum of an associate degree from an accredited institution; OR 2 years of cath lab experience in lieu of degree. Shift/Schedule: 7:00am 5:30PM | Full Time | Day Shift|4/10 s| |Rotating weekday offCall Requirement: On Call after hours and on the weekends | 8-9 days of call with 1 weekend/month. Holiday call: 1 major and 1 minor: Call response time: Within 30 minutes of notification. Case Types: Vascular cases, pacemakers, ICD s, left heart catheterization, percutaneous coronary intervention, electrophysiology studies, and ablation. 10-20 cases per day.New program graduates and RN scrub Nurses welcomed!ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE ROLEHelps Physicians with arteriograms/catheterizations, permanent pacemaker implantations, implantable cardiac defibrillators, diagnostic and interventional, peripheral and coronary, interventional and thrombolytic therapy.Follows national and state radiation protection regulations for patients, self and staff. Prepares room and equipment, instructs patients, monitors patient's condition and provides routine and emergency patient care during procedures. Contributes to the orientation and training of other team members. Help in daily, monthly, and or quarterly quality control initiative through auditing and reporting.
