About the Position: Position/Specialty: CT Tech The Computed Tomography Technologist (CT) reports to the CT supervisor of CT and manager of radiology. Under general supervision, the CT Technologist performs high quality CT examinations in accordance with established protocols on patient populations ranging from neonate through geriatrics for interpretation by a physician Shift: Friday-Sunday 6p-6:30a Is on-call REQ? Yes - call is every 3rd week M-Thu 5p-6a Will this traveler float between service lines? No Floating Req to Sister Facilities: No Required/Preferred Years of experience REQ: 1 year First-timers accepted: Yes National Certs REQ: BLS, ARRT (CT), SCRQSA (CT) Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (CT), as well as Computed Tomography and South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association is required. American Heart Association (AHA) BLS also required. Minimum Training and Education: Graduated from an accredited school of radiologic technology or a student clinical rotation with ARRT certification by end of rotation. Pending State License accepted: No, must have in hand at time of start Radiation Badge REQ: Yes. Radiation badge MUST be provided by agency; MUSC does NOT provide radiation badges to travelers Equipment Experience Preferred: Philips, Toshiba Miscellaneous Open to accommodating block schedule? Approval prior to assignment, but not guaranteed. Local Radius: 60 miles Locals Accepted: Yes, on a case-by-case basis at 10% less the posted bill rate RTO Restrictions for Client Offers: All RTO must be included at time of submission. Approval will be based on facility needs Guaranteed Hours: Facility is allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks. Special Requirements: We perform inpatient, ER and scheduled interventional cases.
