Travel CT Tech - $2,766 per week in Springfield, IL - Cynet Health

**Job Title:** CT Technologist

**Job Specialty:** Radiology / Cardiology

**Job Duration:** 13 weeks

**Shift:** Mid 5x8-Hour (2:00 PM - 10:30 PM), including every other weekend

**Guaranteed Hours:** Client may call-off up to 36 hours per 13-week assignment without compensation for the canceled hours.

**Experience:** Minimum 2 years required

**License:** Active IL state license required or must be in the application process

**Certifications:** ARRT, ARRT-CT, BLS

**Must-Have:**
- Experience in Adult Acute Care, Adult Outpatient, ICU, Emergency Department, Level I Trauma

**Job Description:**
- Perform CT scans for abdomen, pelvis, chest, head, neck, spine, and musculoskeletal areas
- Execute special procedures such as Coronary CTA
- Administer and prepare contrast media safely
- Ensure compliance with radiation safety protocols
- Start peripheral IVs and perform venipuncture
- Utilize skills in image display and post-processing, including 3D rendering and multiplanar reconstruction
- Handle isolation precautions effectively
- Work on-call and holidays as required
- No floating required within the hospital

**Facility Highlights:**

- Experience with Cerner charting system required

**Additional Information:**
- Orientation includes 16 non-billable hours
- Flu vaccine required, with medical/religious exemptions only
- Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays
- Modules completed virtually on the first day by end of day, with annual updates required
