Job Title: Local Travel CT/XR Tech – Chester, CA

Job Description: Connected Health Care is partnering with a healthcare provider in Chester, CA, to find an experienced Local Travel CT/XR Tech for an 8-week contract assignment. Key Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality CT (computed tomography) and X-ray imaging procedures.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process.
• Position patients appropriately for imaging studies and ensure accurate results.
• Work closely with radiologists and other medical professionals to ensure accurate diagnosis.
• Maintain equipment and ensure it is in optimal working condition.
• Ensure all imaging procedures are properly documented and comply with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
• Follow safety protocols for radiation exposure and patient care.
• Assist with patient intake, including checking vital signs and obtaining relevant medical history.
• Provide excellent patient care with a compassionate and professional demeanor.
• Participate in quality assurance activities to improve departmental workflow and patient satisfaction.

Education & Certification Requirements:

• Graduate from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Current CT/XR certification (ARRT or equivalent).
• California state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
• Previous experience in CT and X-ray imaging preferred.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent diagnostic imaging skills.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.

Contract Details:

• Contract Length: 8 weeks.
