Travel Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) - $1,720 to $1,773 per week in Porterville, CA at Pioneer Healthcare Services

Pioneer Healthcare Services has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Skilled Nursing Facility SNF Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant COTA in Porterville, California for a 13 - week contract with the possibility to extend. The Skilled Nursing Facility SNF Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant COTA will possess a combination of knowledge, skills, and abilities that enable them to promote and provide optimal quality care and movement within spheres of promotion, prevention, diagnosis, treatment or intervention, and rehabilitation. This can be a travel or a local assignment.  

Experienced and new grad Skilled Nursing Facility SNF Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant COTA are encouraged to apply. 

Responsibilities of a Skilled Nursing Facility SNF Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant COTA:

• Implements and executes an established patient treatment plan under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist

• Helps occupational therapy clients by providing rehabilitative services to persons with mental, physical, emotional, or developmental impairments

• Provides timely written documentation per facility and department requirements

• Provides services under the direction of licensed occupational therapist

• Follows treatment plan developed in collaboration with physical therapists and speech language pathologists

• Keeps supplies ready by inventorying stock, placing orders, and verifying receipt

• 36hours guaranteed

• 13 week assignment

• Submit all billing logs and necessary information on a timely basis

• New grads and experienced therapists are encouraged to apply - We will support you through this transition
