Shift Requirements: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, weekends required. Assist with procedures and provide diagnostic aid by conducting organ or body scans on patients. Prepare and position patients, selecting anatomic and technical parameters accurately. Prepare and administer contrast media and medications within the accepted scope of practice and applicable state and federal regulations. Observe patients during procedures and report abnormal activity. Monitor protocols and recommend updates or refinements as necessary. Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.Must be able to perform all specialized imaging procedures, such as angiography, complex vascular, and non-vascular interventional and therapeutic procedures, as well as assist the Radiologist/PA. Ensure all activities comply with regulatory agency standards.Licensure / Certification / Registration:BLS Provider, AHA or American Red Cross accepted.Cardiographic Tech credentialed by the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI), obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography, credentialed by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Any specialty accepted.Radiologic Technologist licensure issued by the Illinois Emergency Management Agency required in combination with American Registry of Radiologic Technologists certification.Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist credentialed by the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) preferred.Education and Experience:High School diploma (or equivalent) with 1-2 years of cumulative experience, OR Associate's degree/Technical degree, OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience required.#HCHS
