Required Education:-High School Diploma or GED is required.Required Certifications & Licensure:-BLS - American Heart Association.Required Skills & Experience:-Cleans, checks, restocks, prepares and maintains all anesthesia equipment and supplies foreach surgical case. Ensures anesthesia machines are in surgical suites. Adds specialty equipment and supplies to suite set-ups. Assists in troubleshooting of equipment. Works closely with Biomed to resolve issues with equipment.-Partners with scheduler and unit management team to anticipate special needs of each anesthesiologist. Responds immediately to requests from the anesthesiologists during cases.-Assists the anesthesiologists in surgical suites as needed, especially during emergencies, difficult intubations, and traumas.-Assists in room turnover and prepares anesthesia equipment for next case. Restocks anesthesia supplies in sterile processing department as needed. Collaborates with other care site staff/departments to support anesthesia supply ordering and inventory.-Assists in general cleanup in Perioperative Services.-Promotes mission, vision, and values of SCL Health, and abides by service behavior standards.-Performs other duties as assigned.-May be required to float to other departments (within scope of competency and qualifications) based on business need.-May be required to be placed on-call during a regularly scheduled shift.Preferred Skills & Experience:-One year clinical experience in an accredited hospital is preferred.-Understanding of medical terminology is preferred.-To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential dutysatisfactorily.-The requirements list must be representative of the knowledge, skills, minimum education, training, licensure, experience, and/or ability required.-Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.-Regular attendance to perform work on site during regularly scheduled business hours or scheduled shifts is required.-Ability to work nights and/or weekends is required for identified positions.JO: 35502448
