Responsibilities:
- Trauma Program Management: Assist the Associate Administrator in overseeing the trauma program, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and accreditation requirements.
- Performance Improvement: Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and optimize trauma care processes.
- Data Analysis: Collect and analyze trauma data to identify trends, evaluate performance, and drive continuous improvement efforts.
- Education and Training: Develop and deliver educational programs for staff on trauma care best practices, protocols, and new advancements.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive trauma care.
- Resource Management: Assist in managing resources, including staffing, equipment, and supplies, to ensure efficient and effective trauma care delivery.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience in Emergency or Critical Care preferred.
- Licensure/Certifications:
- Current California RN license.
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
- ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course) certification within 6 months of hire.
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification within 6 months of hire (Instructor preferred).
