About the Job
Major NYC Hospital Corporation is seeking a detail-oriented Trauma Administrator available for an 8 week max assignement. The Trauma Administrator will be responsible for the coordination of resources and activities necessary to ensure that the trauma program assists in developing and reviewing policies and procedures in relation to trauma care patients.
Responsibilities include:
- Responsible for implementation and ongoing assessment, education and communication of these trauma protocols to all disciplines affected
- Assists in the identification of patient and staff education needs as related to trauma and works cooperatively with other hospital disciplines to coordinate these needs
- Actively supports all research projects related to trauma care and outcomes through the trauma registry program
- Maintains continuing education standards
Qualifications required:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Four Years Experience
- Knowledge of ACS Trauma Verification
