Join us. **Job Description** **AECOM** is seeking an experienced **Transportation Transit/Rail Project Manager** to join our **Sacramento Office.** **JOB SUMMARY:** This is an exceptional opportunity to be involved with mega capital infrastructure transit/rail projects for our key clients. Qualified applicants will be able to demonstrate an established career in the transportation transit and rail industry and have a successful track record with the delivery of mega-transit/rail programs. This role will support client procurements by assisting in pre-award planning and coordination of their assigned project(s). **JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:** + Support development and execution of significant rail/transit projects including light rail, heavy rail subway, commuter rail, high-speed rail, and/or bus rapid transit surface, aerial or underground project pursuits and delivery (traditional and alternative) + Establish relationships and interact with major clients + Provide technical expertise and input to client procurements, evaluations and selection process(es) + Directly involved in the day-to-day management and delivery of their assigned client project(s) from initial contract negotiations to final commissioning, start-up and handover. + A desire to work with external contractors/consultants, AECOM’s other divisions/regions and interact directly with major clients + Be a visible and trusted advisor to clients by promoting AECOM’s values both internally and externally + Coordinate procurement-related actions and deliverables on behalf of the procurement team + Assist in the development of key procurement-related documents + Other related responsibilities as directed by the program director **Qualifications** **MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:** + BA/BS + 8 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education **PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:** + Experience in Alternative Delivery Methods + Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering + Track and manage task budgets and schedule experience + Demonstrate leadership skills and communication skills requiring client interaction + Ability to work with various multi-disciplined teams is essential to this role + Provide in-depth Quality Control and Quality Assurance for design/project management/program management **Additional Information** + Travel may be required for this position. + Sponsorship is available for this position + Relocation is available for this position. + Offered rate of compensation (California locations only) will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The salary range for this position is $123,000 - $250,000. \#LI-EM1 Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications.
