Transportation Project Manager - Gpac

A leading firm is seeking a qualified Transportation Project Manager with 8+ years of SDDOT experience and a strong background in business development. Responsibilities:

• Oversight of teams working on transportation projects including roadway design, bridge design, traffic operations, transportation planning, and environmental assessments.
• Manage preparation of engineering reports, plans, and specifications.
• Review plans, technical specifications, contract documents, and estimates, recommending modifications as necessary.
• Supervise junior engineers and technical support personnel.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, agencies, and firm staff to ensure project success.
• Ensure timely project completion, resolving design and coordination challenges.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Civil Engineering Technology.
• 8+ years of experience with SDDOT projects.
• Strong experience in business development.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) certification required (E.I.T. considered).
• Proficient in software such as HCS, SYNCHRO, SIDRA, VISSIM, CUBE, MicroStation, Microsoft Office.
• Experience managing DOT projects.
