About the Job
We are looking for a meticulous, thorough, and organized Construction Project Manager to join our Client in the Department of Transportation division. The primary responsibilities of the role will be project management functions, research products, report preparation, forecast monitoring, overseeing communications with clients and conducting risk assessments.
Education & Experience:
- Minimum education level of a bachelors degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field
- The ideal candidate will have at least 3-5 years of experience in bridge and road construction project management principles.
- Understanding of construction methods, materials, and costs
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and specifications.
- Ability to budget, schedule, negotiate, and control costs.
- A high degree of familiarity with contract and subcontract documents, terms, and conditions
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience with Self-Performing or Specialty Contractor
- Experience in sales/marketing a plus.
- Strong leadership and management skills
Technology:
- Proficient with Microsoft Software- Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Proficient in project management software (Procore, Bluebeam)
