As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in leading transportation design efforts and coordinating project activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transportation Design Leadership:
- Lead the design calculations, report preparation, plan development, and roadway modeling for transportation projects.
- Ensure all designs meet applicable standards and client requirements.
- Proposal and Project Evaluation:
- Assist office leadership in preparing proposal documents and conducting preliminary project evaluations.
- Provide technical expertise and insights during the proposal development phase.
- Network Development:
- Develop and maintain a network of professional contacts with staff at other firms and public agencies.
- Enhance personal and firm relationships to facilitate project coordination efforts.
- Project Coordination:
- Coordinate project tasks and activities, reporting to the project manager and supervisory staff.
- Assist in tracking project budgets, schedules, and status to ensure timely and on-budget project delivery.
- Education:
- Bachelors degree or higher in Civil Engineering or a related Engineering degree from an ABET-accredited program.
- Certification:
- Registered Professional Engineer (PE) in Indiana or Engineer in Training (EIT).
- Experience:
- 7-12 years of experience in designing transportation projects, particularly with the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT), county, and municipal transportation projects.
- Proficiency in using MicroStation and Bentley Open Roads Designer.
- Project Management:
- Experience in project management and leading project teams is highly desirable.
- Strong ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver high-quality results.
- Technical Skills:
- Familiarity with ODOT standards and procedures.
- Advanced knowledge of transportation design and roadway modeling techniques.
- $72,000- $90,000
- Monday- Friday
- 8 AM- 5 PM
