Job Description
Position Responsibilities/Accountabilities: List the major duties/accountabilities to achieve the positions key objectives. Performs and documents both monthly and quarterly evaluations of transportation service provider performance to ensure they are achieving all established targets. Reports on the transportation service provider non-conformances in a structured manner. Defines an escalation process to report identified repetitive issues with identified countermeasures. Utilizes defined escalation paths when required to ensure support, action and accountability is provided, steer as needed. Provides recommendations on how the transportation service provider can improve operational efficiencies to include, but not limited to, team collaboration, visual management, best practices, etc. Collaborates actively with the transportation service providers and/or other process partners impacted by the transportation service provider’s processes. Ensures process standardization is maintained on all shifts through process revisions and communications with the immediate team and/or transportation service providers. Establishes individual performance targets for transportation service providers and provides documented quarterly performance reviews. Performs other duties as assigned by management Client MC Operations Supervisor. III. Position Competencies: A. Education: BA/BS degree in Economics, Engineering, Supply Chain Management or related field, or the equivalent of 4+ years experience in a related area preferably in a manufacturing environment.
