ABOUT THE POSITION
VHB is hiring a part-time Transportation Intern to join our team in Atlanta, GA for the Spring 2025.
Responsibilities
- Effectively interact with numerous VHB staff to advance projects in a timely manner
- Assist with engineering calculations, analysis and report preparation
- Field investigation, data collection, survey quality review
- Assist with completion of preliminary and final construction plans
- Quantity take-offs and calculations
Skills and Attributes
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to independently manage multiple tasks and interact appropriately and positively with clients
- Self-motivated with attention to detail
Qualifications
- Candidates must be pursuing a bachelors or master’s degree in civil engineering
- Interest in transportation design and/or traffic engineering
