What Your Day Will Look Like:
:CONSOR is currently looking for a Transportation Design Engineer in Training (EIT) for our Denver office. This position will contribute to delivering a wide variety of transportation design projects, including intelligent transportation systems (ITS), connected vehicle and emerging technologies, traffic signal design, signing and striping design, roadway design and various traffic studies. Design tasks will involve CADD design and plan production, development of specifications and cost estimates, and review of traffic and ITS technologies.
The candidate must be a highly motivated and talented engineer with a strong interest in transportation projects, and someone who wants to make positive changes to the way people move throughout our communities. Additionally, our projects may also span other verticals, such as multi-modal planning, civil design, and/or construction services. Compensation: $62,400 - $85,000 annually
What You'll Do:
:- Supporting the development of roadway design, traffic design and ITS design packages for transportation projects.
- Developing and writing technical documents.
- Following our quality control process to ensure high caliber work products.
- Maintain cooperative working relationships through effective communication.
- Operate under the direction of a professional engineer.

What You'll Need:
:- A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field is required.
- Registered as a Licensed Engineer in Training (E.I.T.) preferred.
- 0-3 years of professional transportation engineering experience.
- Knowledgeable in computer aided drafting and design systems. Specify any experience with MicroStation or AutoCAD.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Effective communication skills: both oral and written for team collaboration and interpersonal relationships developed with employees and clients.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented professional with strong organizational skills.
- A desire to grow personally and professionally with each project while working in a team environment supporting our client’s overall project goals.
- Time management and the ability to multitask and prioritize competing project obligations.
- Ability to work with others and capacity to learn new skills.
