Join us. **Job Description** AECOM is actively seeking a creative, highly talented, and motivated **Mid-Level Transportation Engineer** for immediate employment for the **Murray, Utah** office. + Engages with local team for design of interchanges, highways, and urban corridors. + Responsible for 3D Modeling. + Performs specific and moderate portions of a broader project assignment of an experienced engineer. + Gathers and correlates basic engineering data using established and well-defined procedures. + Works on detailed or routine engineering assignments involving calculations and relatively simple designs and tests. + Proposes approach to solve new problems encountered using modifications of standard procedures or methods developed in previous assignments. + Follows and directs internal quality process and identifies discrepancies in results. + Provides guidance and mentorship for entry level engineers. + Performs work in accordance with agreed upon budget and schedule with little supervision. + Independently performs the tasks necessary to complete primary design elements for engineering design projects. + Performance at this level requires developmental experience in a professional position. **Qualifications** **Minimum Requirements:** + Bachelor's degree plus 4 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education **Preferred Qualifications:** + BS in Civil Engineering or related engineering discipline + 4+ years of related experience + Licensed Professional Engineer in the state of Utah or the ability to obtain within 6 months of hire if current PE is out of state + Computer skills using Microsoft office, AutoCAD Civil3D and MicroStation preferred. Strong familiarity with InRoads / Open Roads a plus + Individuals with related experience in traffic signal design, traffic control, or maintenance of traffic will also be considered. + Prior experience working with the Utah Department of Transportation is a plus **Additional Information** Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications.
