Caring Transitions of Sarasota & Bradenton is looking for a Transition Team Member who will be responsible for assisting Team Leaders in the execution of our client downsizing, relocations, and online auction projects.

- Typical hours are 10AM to 3PM and some weekends.
- Average hours are 15 to 20 hours or more per week.
- No project is the same.
- Assisting in the setup and management of online auctions using the CT Bids Mobile application.
- Assisting in the coordination and management of on-site auctions, including sorting, organizing, lotting, pricing, researching, descriptions, pictured of client items.
- An eye for detail and enjoy taking appealing pictures that sell products!
- Sorting and organizing items for the auction, ensuring that they are properly prepared for sale.
- Researching items for the auction to ensure accurate and fair pricing and providing auction descriptions to potential buyers.
- Assisting in the photography of items for the auction and ensuring that they are presented in the best possible light.
- Adhering to all safety guidelines and procedures and identifying and addressing any potential hazards.
- Reporting any issues or concerns to the Team Leader and following their instructions.
Online Auction Services
- Sort and organize contents into meaningful auction lots.
- Follow online auction guidelines for taking pictures and descriptions, etc.
- Take pictures, write descriptions.
- Box up auction lots and label for easy identification on pickup day.
- May assist with advertising and marketing / social media.
- Ensure auction lots are organized.
- Responsible for master pickup signature sheet; having winning bidders sign.
- Ensure safety of property (e.g. walls, carpet, flooring doesn’t get damaged)
- May be responsible for day of pickup sales.
- All boxes properly labeled.
- Any broken items are documented/pictures taken prior to packing and noted on master inventory list.
- Special instructions are communicated to movers.
- Team cleans up – sweeps, takes trash, etc.
- All materials are hauled away to recycle or storage for reuse.
- All trash is removed (may be times client is responsible for their own trash)
- Client is fully resettled into new home.
- Sort and box contents of property into donation, trash, recycle.
- Walk property to ensure all clean-out is done (open all cupboards, drawers, attic, crawl space, rafters, walk outside property, etc.)
Before Sale Starts
- Sort; organize, price contents of house.
- Inside Signage
- Cleaning - vacuum, garage swept, etc.
- Outdoor signs organized and ready.
- Empty boxes, bags, and wrapping supplies organized.
- Walk property, check rafters, crawl spaces for sale items and note any clean-out needed.
- Signs are removed and organized into ES sign folder.
- All CT property is stacked and ready for loading/delivery to storage.
- Employee purchases are totaled and paid for
- Walk property to ensure all clean-out is done (open all cupboards, drawers, attic, crawl space, rafters, walk outside property, etc.)
- Ensure transfer of knowledge to clean-out team
- Supervise any donation pick-up, or help with donation drop offs.
- May assist Team Leader in totaling sales.
- Cleaning out or any and all remaining items that did not sell.
- Broom sweep all rooms.
