USmax Corporation is seeking a Training Specialist with an extensive background in training delivery, curriculum development, and planning. This role is responsible for conducting academic, laboratory, demonstrations, operational training in accordance with Course of Instruction (COI) documents in support of security and PR training programs. Duties and Responsibilities: * Conduct training during mobile training team events, in CONUS and OCONUS environments, in support of Mission-specific PR Program and other security training needs.
* Delivers security training programs and courses
* Assists in developing training objectives in accordance with USAID requirements.
* Assist in developing COI documents, training aids, and lesson plans.
* Assist in maintaining PR equipment inventory, including PR Communications, Personnel Survival Kits (PSK), and Individual First Aid Kits (IFAK), and associated training team equipment.
* Creates individual lesson plans in support of COI and Mission-specific requirements. * Assembles and produces required training reports for delivery to customers and stakeholders
Required Qualifications: * Extensive experience in communications, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with experience in public speaking, group facilitation, and program delivery.
* Must be able to relate and adapt to the needs of a wide variety of audiences.
* Experience in, and familiarity with life overseas or in a different culture.
* Time management and organizational skills.
* Base knowledge in safety and security principles.
* Must have and maintain a valid U.S Passport.
Required Experience * Minimum of three years of experience developing and providing training to civilian employees. Required Education * High School Diploma.
Security Clearance Requirements: * Active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a Top-Secret clearance.
Work Location / Schedule: * When not deployed, this position requires a minimum of 3 days per week on site at the client location in Springfield, VA. Telework is generally authorized for 2 days per week. Travel Requirements: * This position requires international and domestic travel on a short-term TDY basis.
