Training Specialist, Operations (Data Entry) - Empower Pharmacy

Position Summary:

The Training Specialist, Operations will play an integral role in facilitating and executing employee training programs for the Customer Service Department. This role will participate in curriculum planning and enrollment coordination with other departments to design and organize training courses by combining creativity, research, and analysis of existing materials.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Designs and organizes training curriculums that adhere to company ethics and conduct, ensuring engagement and maximum participation from trainees.
• Conducts training sessions per department managers' directives within the Customer Service Department, ensuring effective knowledge transfer.
• Assigns learners to appropriate courses via a Learning Management System (LMS), managing both classroom and online learning platforms.
• Assists in creating and updating training reference materials and tools, enhancing the learning experience.
• Analyzes and selects teaching methods that optimize concept delivery, minimizing distraction, downtime, and confusion.
• Participates in delivering training courses, evaluating the effectiveness of various methods and materials in promoting interaction and participation.
• Prepares training locations by ensuring instructors have all the tools, technical equipment, and resources needed to effectively teach a course.
• Documents and communicates updates of training materials, maintaining current and relevant content.
• Handles administrative tasks, including coordinating enrollment, scheduling, and distributing training invites.
• Creates scorecards for new hires and assesses their ability to work independently and oversees nesting environment to ensure new hire success.
• Partners with leaders to develop and implement refresher training courses aimed at enhancing team efficiency.
• Develops and distributes training surveys to gather feedback and assess the effectiveness of courses.
• Conducts training sessions in other department areas as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee is required to talk and hear. Experience and Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
• 1+ years of training experience required.
• Pharmacy Technician License (PTCB Technician Certified) preferred.
• Training certification a plus.
• Train the trainer certification to be obtained within 60 days after the hire date.
