Position Summary
TDI — the strategic advisory and risk intelligence firm is currently seeking a Training Lead to join our Washington, D.C. office. The lead will be responsible for firmwide training programs, with a primary focus on our Due Diligence & Investigations (DD&I) and Advisory practices. The Training Lead will coordinate and deliver onboarding and advanced training modules, drive and lead the development of new training programs, and oversee our efforts to stay on the cutting edge of open source intelligence (OSINT) techniques and best practices. The role will work with the relevant practice heads and human resources on our professional development and training programs to drive and sustain rapid growth throughout the firm.
The successful candidate will have a demonstrated track record and professional interest in training and teaching others, as well as extensive experience in conducting intelligence analysis, due diligence, or investigations. The successful candidate will be a key member of TDI's management corps and will exemplify and serve as a model to all staff of TDI's values of client-focus, excellence, impact, and teamwork.
This role will be based fulltime onsite in our Washington, D.C. office.
Primary Responsibilities
- Present training materials and information using a variety of instructional techniques, such as role-playing, simulations, team exercises, lectures, computer-based or through other creative avenues.
- Enhance the onboarding experience by being present in the office, providing additional resources, answering questions, offering immediate training support, and complementing the efforts of managers to ensure a comprehensive and seamless onboarding process for new employees.
- As a member of the TDI team, contribute to fostering the company's culture and professionalism for all new hires.
- Organize and develop training manuals, reference library, testing and evaluation procedures, multimedia visual aids, and other educational materials.
- Design, plan, and organize training programs, policies, and training schedules for employees in accordance with our internal quality standards.
- Continuously improve and update training programs based on feedback, industry trends, and evolving client needs to ensure the content remains relevant and effective.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, surveys, and employee performance metrics, and use this data to make data-driven decisions for program improvements.
- Align training initiatives with the organization's overall strategic objectives and ensure that training programs support achieving business goals, to include client-specific expectations and our internal quality standards.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts within the organization to develop and deliver specialized training content.
- Ensure employees receive ongoing, regular training to develop their skills and stay up to date with best practices.
- Mentor staff in conducting research, performing analysis, and reports for final delivery to clients.
- Be proficient in using various learning management systems (LMS) and e-learning authoring tools to create and deliver online training content when necessary.
- Adapt training content and delivery methods to accommodate different learning styles and ensure accessibility for all participants.
- Serve as the internal expert and conduct trainings on the latest OSINT techniques, tools, and best practices.
- Remain current on external learning and development opportunities for staff and industry best practices and update internal training and professional development programs accordingly.

Required Experience
- 7-10 years of relevant OSINT analysis experience, with at least one of the below:
- At least 4 years of experience advising clients on regulatory or reputational risk issues and/or conducting and writing compliance or due diligence reports
- At least 4 years of experience conducting investigative litigation support, commercial fraud investigations, multi-jurisdictional investigations for commercial clients and/or professional services firms (investigative, legal, accounting, or public relations)
- At least 4 years of experience conducting intelligence analysis for a government agency or contractor AND 1-2 years of experience working for a firm that serves private sector clients
- At least 2 years of experience training or mentoring staff on intelligence analysis, investigations, or due diligence
- At least 2 years of reviewing and providing quality control for intelligence, investigative, or due diligence reports
- Professional fluency in English required

Compensation decisions are influenced by various factors, such as knowledge, skills, attributes, experience, training, licensure, certifications, location, travel requirements, and other business and organizational needs.
Compensation: $100,000 – $200,000
