Training Employability Coordinator
Onsite Full-Time - Norfolk, Virginia
Duties and Responsibilities
· Ensures management of external Employability Training for a Joint command organization.
· Coordinates with the J37 for various course/training requirements.
· Oversees all request, allocation, processing, payment, and coordination of attending Joint command personnel.
· Supports enrollment processes into Army Training Requirements and Resources System (ATRRS) courses and other miscellaneous schools.
· Drafts standard operating procedures and any other forms and documents needed to execute the administration, tracking, management, and reporting of all training requirements within a timely manner.
· Enters necessary Deployment and Readiness Training Branch (DART) training employability requirements into Patriot Excalibur (PEX) or other applicable training management system.
· Prepares and briefs weekly DART Schools slides for the Readiness Integration Center (RIC). Provides additional updates to the RIC on NATO/school announcements, changes, COVID protocol, etc.
· Updates DART's Weekly Training Report and attends and briefs training for tracking and reporting. Ensures information is accurate and consistent with applicable directives.
· Prepares/formats information within directed timelines with better than 95% accuracy on all readiness reporting.
· Update information and pull reports from PEX, Standard Form-182, trackers, TRANSCOM/DoD training requirements, and other miscellaneous training reports associated with employability.
· Perform other related training employability tasks as required.
Education
· Associate's Degree in business/training management, human resources, or related field
Minimum Qualifications
· 5 years of experience in military training coordination, Joint command environment preferred
· Possess the capability to articulate well, including briefing senior leaders
· Communications and comprehension skills in English, both oral and written
· Experience with Microsoft Office products
· Demonstrated capability to perform administrative work
· Self-starter and good time management skills
· U.S. citizenship required
· Ability to pass extensive background investigation
