**Training and Development Supervisor - Full Time**
**Location:** Seattle, WA
**Rate:** $27.99/HR

Training and Development Supervisors facilitate classroom training sessions and create and update training materials used during On-the-Job Training (OJT) as a part of the onboarding process as well as any workshops or training sessions for existing security specialists. Their role is to ensure that employees receive relevant and engaging training in accordance with regulatory compliance and client specific needs.
**Essential Functions:**
+ Facilitate On the Job Training (OJT) for new hires, rehires, and individuals requiring retraining as a part of returning to work after leave - including specialized training sessions for leadership positions or specialized positions
+ Facilitate CPR classes for new hires as well as for recertification
+ Develops training schedules in conjunction with management
+ Document and report findings to leadership regarding interactions from training sessions that may highlight strengths or weaknesses related to the individual's ability to perform their job satisfactorily
+ Acts to ensure compliance with legally mandated, contractual, and company mandated training, on-the-job training as required for purposes of certifications and under the terms of client contracts
+ Create and update training materials used during training sessions - including PowerPoints, handouts, videos, etc.
+ Routinely perform and document audits on specialists when not actively facilitating training to their test skills and knowledge and keep in touch with best practices in the field
+ Cross train with Field Training Supervisors to serve as a back-up in the event additional support is needed
+ Additional job functions, duties, and specific tasks not included above that are of a similar nature and scope as it is needed and requested from your leadership team
**Skills & Competencies:**
+ Skilled in facilitating instructor led training sessions presentation and group facilitation skills
+ Skilled in conducting training needs assessments and creating training content using a strategic approach
+ Skilled in observation, coaching, and providing feedback to employees
+ Knowledge of or ability to learn security services and operations
+ Skilled in using technology including but not limited to Office products, A/V equipment, and general computer proficiency
+ Skilled in research and analysis
+ Ability to take initiative and achieve results
+ Strong organizational and time management skills
+ Detail oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills needed
+ Ability to adapt quickly and professionally to changes in the external environment and organization
+ Ability to interact effectively at various social levels and across diverse cultures
+ Strong customer service skills and results orientation

**Position Requirements:**
+ 18 years of age or older
+ High School Diploma or GED Required
+ Standard computer / technology skills needed
+ Must be able to provide exceptional customer service to our clients and their guests
+ Must be responsible, accountable, objective, and have a strong work ethic
+ Must have a strong grasp of appropriate and professional verbal / written communication
+ Conflict resolution and de-escalation skills a plus
+ Customer service background preferred
+ Must be able to interact with a wide range of individuals in a professional manner
+ Must possess a valid driver's license for state of assignment and insurable driving record
+ Must have a reliable means of communication (i.e., cell phone)
+ Must have a reliable means of transportation (public or private)
+ Must have the legal right to work in the United States
+ Must be advanced in the ability to speak, read, and write English
+ Must have a minimum of 1 year of security experience, customer service, or hospitality experience
+ Must be able to meet and continue to meet any applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers
