About the Job
This individual is responsible for managing, planning and delivering Navy combat weapon system training programs to include training curricula development, conduct of training and on-site advisory services.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure all deliverables are completed and submitted in time to support overall program milestones and reviews.
- Develops and maintains curricula for these courses: Watch Officer (WO), Tomahawk Strike Manager (TSM), and Cruise Missile Command Course (CMCC).
- Develop curricula using AIM or LOM/CPM software and deliver to the Learning Standards Office (LSO).
- Conduct Shipboard Training on development/maintenance, Initial Technical Training (ITT) or differences training for all versions.
- Conduct training onsite in accordance with installation and upgrade schedules. Non-shipboard training may include personnel from Afloat Training Group, Surface Combat Systems Training Command (SCSTC), Regional Maintenance Center (RMC), Numbered Fleets, or NSWC PHD and other external customers.
Requirements:
- Experience as a Project Manager in a government contracting environment.
- U.S. Citizenship & Active DoD Secret clearance is required.
- Ten (10) years of experience managing, planning, developing and delivering Navy Weapon Systems training programs.
- Five years (5) of experience directly related to the management and coordination of personnel and activities in support of the design, development, and production of training courses and course materials utilizing NAVEDTRA 130 series standards for Navy Combat Weapon Systems.
- Demonstrated experience representing the US Navy Tomahawk Training Program at technical meetings inside and outside the Tomahawk community.
- Demonstrated experience coordinating Fleet training requirements with Learning Standards Office, Afloat Training Groups, US Navy Schoolhouses and Course Curriculum Model Managers.
- Direct experience with Tactical Tomahawk Weapons Control System (TTWCS).
- Ability to travel up to 25%.
