This position is eligible for remote work. This role will have occasional on site expectations.
Job Responsibilities
- Maintains training curriculum with supporting documentation for assigned area of responsibility.
- Facilitates training classes, including internal live classroom sessions and webinars.
- Supports team in monitoring and reporting the effectiveness of classes and learner performance.
- Acts as a role model for trainees.
- Represents the Overstock culture to the rest of the company.
- Identifies areas for operational improvement/excellence.
- Promotes quality achievement and performance improvement.
- Provides support to the Training Manager(s).
- Assist in any preparation needed for new training.
- Be open to all kinds of situations that can arise.
- Effectively communicates information throughout the department.
- Evaluates training effectiveness by managing classroom rosters and surveys.
- Perform other duties as required and assigned by manager and upper management.
- Follow legal policies as directed.
Job Requirements
- E-commerce industry knowledge is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of adult learning theory.
- Basic facilitation skills and ability to convey a message to any type of audience.
- Ability to develop and maintain strong cross-departmental relationships.
- Good written/verbal communication skills.
- Ability to use sound judgment when making the right decisions.
- Ability to learn and implement new computer programs and platforms.
- Ability to be flexible and adapt to rapidly changing strategies, requirements, and schedules.
- Demonstrate creativity and have the ability to see missing steps in processes, etc. to have a well-developed training.
- Demonstrate creative thinking both inside and outside of the classroom.
- Ability to identify issues, report to management and implement positive change.
- Find new ways to help innovate training to meet latest industry trends.
- Detail oriented
- Able to travel 10%-40% of the time.
Skills
- Computer proficiency
- Knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
Base Salary Range:
$16.83 - $20.67 per hour

Physical Requirements:
This position requires you to sit, stand and perform general office functions. You may also be required to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally. Bending, stooping and reaching are also frequently required.
