Job Details
Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Traffic Signal Foreman & Super, you will be responsible for overseeing and directing the daily operations of traffic signalization and highway lighting projects. This includes:
1. Supervising and managing crew members to ensure work is done safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard.
2. Coordinating and planning project tasks, including scheduling and resource allocation.
3. Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including FDOT and ITS standards.
4. Overseeing the installation, maintenance, and repair of heavy industrial electrical systems, commercial electric, and industrial electric systems.
5. Conducting regular inspections to ensure all work is completed to the highest quality and safety standards.
6. Managing project budgets, timelines, and deliverables to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
7. Providing regular project updates to upper management and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for this role will have a strong background in the construction industry, with specific experience in traffic signalization, highway lighting, and heavy industrial electrical work. The following qualifications are required:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, with proven experience as a foreman or superintendent.
2. Extensive knowledge of traffic signalization, highway lighting, heavy industrial electrical, commercial electric, and industrial electric systems.
3. Proven experience in crew management and project management, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
4. Familiarity with FDOT and ITS standards and regulations.
5. A Class A CDL is a plus, but not required.
6. Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
7. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to make decisions quickly and effectively under pressure.
8. A commitment to safety, with a thorough understanding of safety protocols and procedures in the construction industry.
