We are looking for a Traffic Engineering Manager to join our team! You will oversee and deliver multiple traffic engineering projects for a variety of clients, including public, private, and institutional sectors.
Your responsibilities will encompass various aspects of traffic engineering design, such as traffic signals, signing and striping, worksite traffic control and stage construction, traffic impact studies, traffic operational analysis, safety studies, parking studies, signal timing and coordination, and other planning and operational projects. Your work will often involve coordination with other roadway, transportation, or site infrastructure projects, requiring strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with software tools such as Synchro/SimTraffic, Agi32, AutoCAD, MicroStation, and/or VISSIM.

Job Details
We are looking for a Traffic Engineering Manager to join our team! You will oversee and deliver multiple traffic engineering projects for a variety of clients, including public, private, and institutional sectors.
Your responsibilities will encompass various aspects of traffic engineering design, such as traffic signals, signing and striping, worksite traffic control and stage construction, traffic impact studies, traffic operational analysis, safety studies, parking studies, signal timing and coordination, and other planning and operational projects. Your work will often involve coordination with other roadway, transportation, or site infrastructure projects, requiring strong communication and collaboration skills.
Required Education/Experience:
- Must have a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- Hold a Professional Civil Engineer (PE) and/or Traffic Engineer (TE) license/registration in the State of California.
- A minimum of 2 years of management experience in engineering and design, focusing on traffic engineering, is required.
- You should possess expert technical knowledge of traffic and transportation engineering concepts, practices, and procedures, with proven experience in preparing technical reports, designs, specifications, and computations. Familiarity with local design procedures, regulatory compliance, and agency coordination, as well as a thorough understanding of schedule, budget, and scope of services management, is necessary.
