As an Ad Agency Traffic Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the seamless flow of projects across teams and departments, meeting deadlines, and exceeding client expectations.
POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Traffic Coordinator is a contract to hire role with a 3-month initial term. This is a pivotal team member responsible for managing the marketing execution workflow of a dedicated nationally recognized QSR brand. The ideal candidate will have 1 to 3 years of experience in traffic coordination, exceptional organizational skills, and a knack for effective communication. This role requires balancing multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy, ensuring projects stay on schedule, and fostering collaboration across teams.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Project Management and Coordination:
- Act as the central point of contact for all project timelines and deliverables.
- Develop and maintain detailed schedules for creative, production, and delivery phases.
- Monitor project progress, ensuring teams adhere to deadlines and budgets.
Team Collaboration:
- Serve as a liaison between internal teams, including account management, creative, production, and media.
- Communicate project updates, changes, and requirements effectively.
- Ensure all team members understand their roles, responsibilities, and deadlines for each project.
Workflow Optimization:
- Identify bottlenecks or inefficiencies in workflows and propose solutions.
- Track and manage project assets to ensure proper version control and accessibility.
- Streamline communication processes to maintain a consistent and efficient workflow.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate project records, including timelines, task lists, and status updates.
- Prepare and distribute regular reports to stakeholders on project progress and performance metrics.
- Document and escalate any risks or issues impacting project delivery.
Client Support:
- Collaborate with account managers to ensure client expectations are met.
- Coordinate client approvals and feedback, integrating them into the project workflow.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, communications, or a related field preferred.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in traffic coordination, project management, or a similar role within an advertising agency or marketing environment.
- Strong understanding of advertising and marketing workflows.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., Wrike, Workfront, Airtable, Monday or similar platforms).
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to manage relationships across teams.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with creative, print and digital production processes.
- Experience in quality assurance processes for advertising campaigns.
