Track and Field Assistant Coach - Pole Vault
Reports To: Athletics Director
Employment Status: Part-Time, Seasonal
Job Summary: The Assistant Track and Field Coach will work in tandem with the Head Boys and Girls Track and Field Coach along with the Assistant Athletic Director K-8 to enhance the JH and HS track and field programs. The coach will work with, but will not be limited to, the pole vault. Duties include planning, developing, mentoring, and leading student-athletes and coaching staff in the program.
Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare and implement a plan to develop student athletes
- Invest time to build relationships with players, coaches at all levels
- Be willing to learn and work collectively with the track and field coaching staff
- Maintain compliance with OHSAA rules and regulations
- Maintain a 'Win Twice' culture on and off the court
Job Qualifications:
- Must be committed to developing student-athletes physically, emotionally, and spiritually
- Strong communication and organizational skills is a must
- Experience coaching at the high school, club or collegiate level is desired
- Experience as a former track and field athlete is desired
- Seeking individuals who will bring great energy and enthusiasm as well as strong Christian leadership skills
- Comfortable working in a multi-denominational community
