Description of the Role

Are you a top performer wanting to land a dream position in a Toyota store.  As a Toyota Service Director at Toyota of Kenner, you will be responsible for leading and managing the service department operations. This includes overseeing the performance of service technicians, implementing service procedures, optimizing customer satisfaction, and ensuring the efficient and profitable operation of the service department.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise service department staff, including technicians, service advisors, and administrative personnel.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize service department performance, customer satisfaction, and profitability.
• Monitor and analyze service department metrics, such as customer satisfaction scores, technician efficiency, and departmental expenses.
• Ensure effective communication and coordination within the service department and with other departments.
• Oversee the scheduling and coordination of service appointments, repairs, and maintenance.
• Resolve customer concerns and complaints in a timely and satisfactory manner.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technological advancements, and manufacturer recommendations to improve service department operations.

Requirements

• Prior experience in a leadership role within an automotive service department.
• Extensive knowledge of automotive service operations, including maintenance, repairs, and customer relations.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to effectively manage and motivate a team.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Proficiency in relevant computer software and systems.
