The Total Rewards Leader recommends, implements, and administers benefit and compensation programs, oversees payroll, and ensures compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
Location: Kinetico Corporate Headquarters, Newbury, OH, Hybrid Schedule Eligible
Travel: 10% - 20%
Compensation: Salary, Exempt and Incentive Bonus Eligible
Key Areas of Responsibilities:
- Directly manages a small team of HR professionals. Guides execution of assigned area’s projects and tasks. Areas of oversight include Benefits, Payroll, HRIS (and other HR systems), and Compensation.
- Collaborates with external benefit consultants to identify and evaluate benefit plan designs, perform cost analyses, and review funding alternatives. Prepares proposals for management review and consideration.
- Communicates benefit plan provisions to employees; maintains and issues plan documents and performs benefit orientations.
- Oversees administration of the employee benefit plans including flexible spending accounts, medical, dental, vision, short and long-term disability, life insurance, and thrift plans. Manages third-party vendors and ensures compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Oversees Compensation programs including salary structures, job evaluation, job profiles and leveling, merit and incentive administration, and more.
- In coordination with the HR team, deploys performance and calibration tasks from Cornerstone performance system.
- Oversees Kinetico’s payroll function, establishing internal processes that ensure the integrity of all payroll-related transactions. Administers pay practices, time and attendance policies and PTO plan and validates compliance to and consistency in application.
- Ensures users have appropriate access and support navigating HRIS systems; develops and delivers HRIS system training to meet the needs of the company.
- Collaborates with human resource team members to provide quality service to business partners, employees, and plan participants.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in human resources or business administration, or equivalent work experience, with a minimum of 10 years' related experience.
- In-depth knowledge of Fair Labor Standards Act, ERISA, COBRA, ACA, EEO and other relevant federal regulations.
- Experience with ADP Workforce Now and Cornerstone Performance and Talent Management Systems preferred.
- Experience in defining system solutions, automation of work processes and implementation of cloud-based systems. High attention to detail and strong organizational skills, planning and time-management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks against tight deadlines.
- Must maintain confidential and secure sensitive information.
- Must be proficient in use of Microsoft Office suite of products, with advanced skills in Excel.
- Requires excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
- Must have demonstrated ability to successfully establish effective interpersonal relationships with a variety of management and staff and work independently toward project deliverables.
- Ability to work independently and manage projects to their successful conclusion.
The HRBP, Benefits, Compensation, and HRIS reports to the VP of Global People Operations. They directly manage a small HR team. Internally, the position works closely with other HR team members, and all levels of managers and employees. Externally, the position oversees vendors and consults with other sources.
