Position Summary
The Total Rewards Analyst will support the organization's compensation and benefits packages. Responsible for maintaining compensation structures and evaluating benefits programs to attract, retain, and motivate current employees and top talent. Additionally, assisting with the administration of all benefits and retirement programs, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, and 401(k) plans.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Total Rewards function including the administration of all compensation/benefit programs including health, welfare, wellness, retirement, base pay, incentives and other reward programs
- Plan and execute projects focused on total rewards initiatives
- Assist in management and oversight of HRIS system
- Retrieve and analyze data for audits, promptly addressing any inquiries or requests ensuring compliance and accuracy throughout the process.
- Partner with talent acquisition to ensure total reward collateral is current and update as needed
- Collaborate with key stakeholders on communications, collateral, and other materials for total rewards programs
- Create reports and presentations to communicate the effectiveness of compensation and benefits programs
- Support vendor management activities, including invoices, audits, and other tasks as needed
Benefits administration and compliance
- Address employee inquiries, concerns, and issues related to benefits enrollment, coverage, and eligibility; provide benefit vendor management oversight to ensure our programs are being administered consistently
- Coordinate and facilitate the open enrollment process for employee benefits, communicating information effectively through various channels; liaise with benefits vendors to coordinate enrollment activities and ensure seamless implementation of benefits plans
- Support ongoing wellness plans and strategies
- Maintain current knowledge of related government rules and regulations, including the Employee Retirement Income Security act (ERISA), FLSA, FMLA, ADA, COBRA, and other applicable Labor and/or Tax laws and regulations; fulfill compliance and reporting requirements
- Alongside Director, manage annual 401k audit
- Leave of absence management, working with third-party leave administrator to ensure coordination between company policy, state, and disability benefits for payroll processing and HRIS updates
- Analyze benefits data to evaluate usage, costs, and effectiveness, providing valuable insights for management review.
Compensation plan design and compliance
- Participate in salary surveys and conduct thorough market research to benchmark salaries and benefits against industry standards and competitors
- Analyze job roles and responsibilities to establish FLSA status, appropriate salary ranges and job grades.
- Provide expert guidance on compensation-related matters, including promotions, salary adjustments, and incentive schemes.
- Assist in the development and rollout of incentive programs and bonus plans.
HRIS
- Support review and implementation of modules, upgrades and additional functionality in HRIS system to ensure end to end company support of all HR data
- Provide day to day HRIS support to managers and employees
- Work with vendor to quickly resolve any system issues or concerns
- Become reporting expert in HRIS and manage report requests on and as needed basis

- Location: Stow, Ohio

Knowledge & Skill Needed:
- Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance or related field required
- Professional certification is a plus (CCP, PHR, CEBS)
- Experience:
- Minimum 4 years of experience in compensation and/or benefits function
- Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills Required - Complex Modeling, and PowerPoint
- Understanding of compensation, benefits, and leave management best practices
- Ability to identify and address compensation and benefits challenges, developing creative solutions to meet business needs
- Human Resources principles and best practices in compensation including job analysis/evaluation
- Proficient with compensation tools, data analysis, research methods and techniques
- Familiarity and ability to analyze Employment Law regulations, principles and practices as related to compensation and benefits
- Preparing written reports and presentations for varied audiences
- Demonstrated ability to interact with all levels of organization
- Comfortable navigating ambiguous situations, exercising discretion and judgment
- Effectively communicate both in writing and verbally
- Handle sensitive and confidential matters and situations
- Highly Organized, Attention to Detail, Results-Oriented
- Ability to work well within a team environment as well as independently as the situation demands
