About the Job
The Office of Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Consolidated Mail Outpatient Pharmacy (CMOP) currently has a shortage of Non-Clinical and Program Support positions to include, General Engineering, Inventory Specialists, Policy Subject Matter Experts, Production/Operations Specialists, Accounting Technicians, and Administrative Assistants. The Contractor shall provide project support to include all key personnel, management, supervision, and labor necessary to provide nonpersonal staffing services to support CMOP operations.

Overtime may be required throughout the life of the contract. Overtime is considered any hours worked on this contract (in excess of forty hours within one week per person), and not any hours in excess of eight hours daily per person. Overtime must be authorized in writing by VA facility management. The scheduling of overtime must be coordinated between Contractor on-site facility administrator and COR. The Government must make a reasonable effort but not less than 12 hours to give the Contractor as much notice as possible when emergency overtime is required for any reason. The Government reserves the right to cancel overtime at any time.

the time of offers due shall automatically be rendered technically unacceptable and
will not be eligible for award.)
Qualification- Inventory Specialist
- High School (HS) or General Equivalency Diploma (GED)
- Four years of experience
- Must be able to understand how to perform basic mathematical calculations.
- Have basic typing and PC computer skills.
- Must read, understand, speak, and write English fluently under the authority of U.S.C. 7402(d) and 7407(d)
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds when required; push or pull up to 150 pounds on a rolling cart or using a pallet jack. Must be able to stand or sit for long periods of time (8-10 hours), stoop, reach upward and withstand various types of repetitive motion inherent in the various tasks to be performed.
- Performs tasks related to the movement, restocking and accounting of items stored in various locations.
- Responsibilities can include compiling and
maintaining records, identifying types of supplies, and suggesting re-order points for revolving stock. - Maintains inventories of drugs and supplies, stocking shelves, rotating stock, and checking expiration date of pharmaceuticals
- Fills/stocks medications in various automated devices and storage locations
Operates various types of pharmacy automation, including, but not limited to: - Autofill devices; Baker Cells; Kalish cells, A-frames; repackaging equipment; electronic scales.
- Read computer screens, use scanning equipment, select specific drugs/products required to fill an order by name, strength, and National Drug Code (NDC) number.
OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH TESTING
- MMR vaccine or titer

- Varicella vaccine or titer
- TB skin test, bloodwork, or Chest X-ray
- Flu shot.
- COVID-19: Contractors shall be compliant with VA and local CMOP policies.
