About the Job
An automotive parts manufacturer near the Lasalle, IL area is looking for a Toolroom Fabricator. The ideal candidate will have experience within an industrial/manufacturing environment.
This is a full-time position with excellent benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401 (K), paid holidays & vacation.
Responsibilities:
- Cutting, bending, & welding materials – based on specifications
- Determine requirements for fabrication projects - based on drawings & blueprints
- Experience with machining, drill press, lathe, welding, custom fabrication
- Quality checks on finished products (meets quality & safety standards)
Qualifications:
. High School diploma or equivalent (metal fabrication certification is a plus)
- Fabricator experience within a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of metal fabrication (techniques, machinery, tools)
. Ability to read & interpret drawings/blueprints

This position is in a manufacturing work environment. While performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 25 pounds, lift in excess of 30 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts/equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear. You may also be required to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision.
