About the Job
Role
As an Injection Tool Maker (also known as Tool Builder, Maintenance Technician), you'll be responsible for all aspects of injection molding tooling, including hot runner systems, cooling systems, and ejection. Your duties will also include troubleshooting thermoforming and injection molding tooling, maintaining and repairing tooling, fabricating details, spotting tools, and using traditional metal fabrication equipment and CNC equipment for component fabrication.

- High School Diploma or GED.
- Technical degree in related field or equivalent experience.
- 1-3 years of demonstrated tool building, maintenance, and repair experience.
- Ability to read machine prints and determine proper equipment required to fabricate the desired item.
- Strong mechanical mindset and understanding of industrial systems, electrical and hydraulic/pneumatic troubleshooting.
- Experience with injection molding and/or thermoforming plastics preferred.
- Experience working in a scheduled maintenance environment.
- Ability to read, write, email, and have basic computer skills.
- Must be able to pass a background check, physical and drug screen.
- Able to use hand tools, lift 50lbs, bend, reach, squat, sit, stand, and utilize ladders.
