- Follow all safety and health policies and procedures to maintain a safe and healthful workplace, reporting any unsafe conditions and accidents promptly.
- Maintain proper ergonomics while performing tasks.
- Meet and maintain all customer quality standards and the standards of the company.
- Perform daily cross-functional job assignments in all areas of the assigned department according to established procedures and work guidance.
- Participate in and support all lean, continuous improvement programs, initiatives, and activities.
- Meet or exceed daily production goals as directed by the Maintenance Technical Team Leader and departmental objectives.
- Clean assigned work areas after task completion, return tools to proper storage, and report any malfunctioning equipment to the Maintenance Technical Team Leader.
- Record and report all data required to maintain daily production records and submit to the Maintenance Technical Team Leader for data input.
- Direct all non-conforming parts to the appropriate reprocess area.
- Maintain proper radio etiquette, using company radios for business purposes only.
- Be available for overtime as needed according to company policy.
- Perform tasks per work guidance sheets, Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) procedures, and quality alerts.
- Participate in a rotating schedule to update the 5S board.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Technical Team Leader.
Educational Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED with a minimum of six years of direct job-related experience, or completion of an Apprenticeship Program.
- Associate degree in a technical field of study preferred.
