Tooling Engineer - kirbyrisk

If so, you could be our next Tooling Engineer at Kirby Risk Precision Machining! 

Primary Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain healthy supplier relationships for engineering and indirect materials used in the final production of products for customers
• Specify, purchase, and maintain tooling required for product manufacturing in collaboration with the engineering team
• Regularly report the status of tooling and other indirect material purchases to Engineering and Operations management.
• Work with engineering to maintain manufacturing process control to meet cost and quality requirements
• Prepare tooling documentation for use in manufacturing process documentation

Want to know if you are a good fit? If so, you will meet the following criteria:

• Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field or 5+ years of process engineering experience
• Demonstrates a solid understanding of cutting tooling used in machining
• Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and customer contact skills
• Well-developed communication skills, both written and verbal

 Hours and Travel: 7:00 am-4:00 pm. Travel to customers as necessary.
