Tool Maker Job Description

This position in manufacturing requires a minimum of 10 years experience in a tool room position. This position requires the following experience and knowledge:

Capable of operating all tool room equipment in safe (meeting OSHA requirements) and responsible manner.

Experience with Agie Mondo 1 and 2 EDM machines to run without assistance.

The ability to diagnose problems and repair progressive tooling.

Expert knowledge to repair jigs and fixtures on assorted manufacturing equipment.

10 years experience in making of blanking tools, trim tools and piercing tools.

Must have ability to multitask with changing priories along with the ability to work with others on projects while sharing tool room equipment and clean up responsibilities.

Experience with hubs and dies along with wire EDM is a plus.

Must adhere to company quality levels and company policies.
