Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Tool Maker to join our team. As a Tool Maker, you will be responsible for the manufacture, repair, and maintenance of precision tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures used in production processes. This role requires a keen attention to detail, strong mechanical aptitude, and proficiency in machining techniques.

Responsibilities:

Manufacture, repair, and maintain precision tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures according to engineering drawings and specifications.
Set up and operate a variety of machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, grinders, and CNC equipment to fabricate tooling components.
Perform precision measurements and inspections using precision measuring instruments to ensure accuracy and quality of finished products.
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to troubleshoot tooling issues and implement improvements.
Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to company safety policies and procedures.
Document work performed, including maintenance records and tooling specifications.
Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in tooling technology.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or apprenticeship in tool and die making preferred.
Minimum of [X] years of experience in tool making or related field.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and blueprints.
Experience with operating manual and CNC machine tools.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
