Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

• Building, repairing, and modifying plastic injection & blow molds.
• Build jigs and fixtures as needed.
• Build or modify stamping dies.
• Perform mold and die maintenance when needed.
• Must be proficient performing in house operations including milling lathe, grinding, conventional EDM, using manual machines.
• Must abide by Greif's safety standards.
• Must thrive in a team environment.
• Must maintain good attendance.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

• Typically possesses a high school diploma (or equivalent) .
• Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Tool Maker or Mold Maker
• Must be proficient using measuring instruments used in a Tool Room.
• Must have own tools.
• Must be comfortable with precision close tolerance machining.
• Must be comfortable working in a prototype / R&D tool room.

  Knowledge and Skills

• Demonstrated ability to follow directions and work well in a team.
• Demonstrated ability to interpret and translate job specifications for production machineries.
• Thorough understanding of production equipment.
