Hours: ~ 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Pay: ~ +/- $43/hr—$53/hr (~ $90k—$110k annually)
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Tool Design Engineer to join team immediately. You will be pivotal in developing and manufacturing tools and fixtures for the aerospace industry, ensuring precision, reliability, and safety.
Key Responsibilities:

• Design & Development: Utilize CATIA to create detailed designs of tools and fixtures per aerospace standards.
• Manufacturing Support: Collaborate with machinists, technicians, and suppliers to ensure accurate fabrication.
• Quality Assurance: Establish standards and procedures for tool inspection and testing.
• Continuous Improvement: Innovate and improve tooling design and manufacturing processes.
• Project Management: Manage timelines, milestones, and deliverables, and communicate progress to stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; relevant experience considered
• Minimum 5 years' experience
• Proficiency in CATIA
• Knowledge of aerospace materials, manufacturing processes (e.g., CNC machining, composite tooling, additive manufacturing), and industry standards (e.g., AS9100)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Project management experience is a plus
