This is a full-time position with a schedule of Monday-Friday, 8:45am-5:45pm. The starting pay rate is $13-14.00 per hour depending on experience and qualifications. This position is located onsite at our center: 398 Douglas Ave, Altamonte Springs, FL 32714.
Our Toddler 2-year-old Teacher builds a positive and safe learning environment for children, promoting activities that improve the quality of education and childcare, and assisting with the development and implementation of curriculum. The Toddler Teacher develops a cohesive teaching team and manages the day-to-day operational activities of the classroom. The Teacher in this role should be high energy and able to work well with staff, students, and parents. You’ll have the opportunity to be a leader in the classroom, champion a team environment, provide fun-filled learning opportunities, and make a positive impact on the lives of 2-year-old students while activating a quality, nurturing educational program and foster meaningful, lasting relationships with children and their parents.

What You’ll Do:
• Coordinate and implement educational curriculum by developing classroom activities based on developmentally appropriate practices and early learning standards
• Lead by example and encourage success through modeling and coaching
• Plan individual and group age-appropriate activities to engage children and encourage social, cognitive, and emotional growth
• Follow all facility policies and state regulations
• Maintain a personal and professional development plan to ensure continuous quality

What We Need from You:
• High school diploma / GED, or degree in related field of study required
• FL 45 DCF hours required

• Minimum of 1 year of professional early childhood education or experience
• Must clear a full background check
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, oral and written communication skills, and basic computer skills
• Strong understanding of children's cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development to ensure a safe and stimulating classroom environment where students are engaged and encouraged to succeed
• Effective in communicating with both students and adults to meet the needs of the children, effectively guide teacher assistants, and resolve parental concerns
• Must be able to lift, push or carry up to 40-50lbs
• Able to stand for more than 2 or 3 hours
