We are a family-oriented Midwest based company. As a result of our growth, we have a need for a Mechanical Assembly Technician with the drive to learn and become a successful member of our skid system building team.

What You Get To Do
· Assembles custom mechanical, liquid, and pneumatic systems using drawings and/or verbal directions.
· Assembles piping systems.
· Works with equipment such as pumps, valves, instruments, couplings, motors, gear reducers, tanks, mixers, and heat exchangers.
· Interacts closely with team of engineers, designers, project coordinators and technicians to take a project from conception to operation.
· Performs metal fabrication processes including, but not limited to cutting, welding, grinding, drilling, and tapping.
· Performs laser alignment of equipment to ensure proper placement of equipment on skidded systems.
· Safely operate forklifts and cranes.
· Installs and performs service on equipment at customer sites.
· Maintains and perform preventative maintenance on service equipment and tools.
Requirements:What We Need From You
· High School Diploma or equivalent required
· Background in automotive, construction and/or mechanical contracting
· Proven experience installing piping systems, including threaded, glued, and flanged pipe a plus
· Welding experience desired
· Ability to read and interpret liquid/pneumatic schematics and assembly drawings
· Willingness to learn
